TELUS Samsung Holiday Sale

TELUS is running a sale on Samsung phones for the holidays. Sign up to a two-year TELUS cell plan and receive up to $250 off the up-front price.

Just how much you save varies quite a bit, which is to be expected.

The Galaxy S6 Edge is definitely the best deal here. Usually a good $100 more than its flat counterpart, the Edge has been reduced so far that their prices are now identical, even after the flat S6 has been discounted.

If you're not a fan of the curved display, the flat Galaxy S6 is still a good deal. Starting at $100 up-front, you can get a good $150 off the regular price.

The Note 5 has been reduced less, but being recently-released that's understandable. Save $60.

Next we have the Galaxy S6 edge+. Confusingly-named, this is a Galaxy Note-sized phone, with a Galaxy S6 Edge-style curved display. Down to a starting price of $310, from a whopping $460.

The Galaxy S5 Neo is down to $0 from $100. This is essentially a Samsung Galaxy S5, but with a better front-facing camera and comes running a more up-to-date version of Android.

The Galaxy A5 is also $0 down from $100. It's a prettier phone than the S5 Neo, with a metal frame, but in terms of hardware the S5 Neo has it beat. If you want an affordable phone that looks great then the A5 will get you by, but if you're after functionality then the S5 Neo should be your go-to.
