Time is running out to get in on the WIND 39 Unlimited deal. This is a month-to-month plan, so you can leave just about any time you want without having to pay out a contract, so long as you’ve paid for your current month’s service.
Sign up before Sept 14 and you’ll get on the usually-$45 Unlimited data (5GB at full speed) plan for $6 off per month. That’s a saving of $144 over 2 years – the life of a standard contract plan.
It should be noted that this deal’s Terms and Conditions on WIND’s website suggest that the deal could be extended until Sept 30 with no notice, so there’s always the chance that you have a bit more time to get on board.
Caveats and asterisks
No deal is without its terms and conditions. It’s always best to read the T&Cs before you sign up to anything, but here are the highlights of this one:
- If you join this plan, and then switch plans after the promotional period ends, you will not be able to return to it at the reduced limited-offer price of $39.
- If you are an existing WIND customer who is seeking to downgrade their plan to take up this promotion, you will have to call WIND customer care, long in to your WING My Account, or go throught he WIND My Account smartphone app to request migration to this plan. You will not be able to sign up through a brick and mortar store. Also, downgrading customers will incur a $25 one-time processing fee (plus applicable taxes).
- WIND reserves the right to terminate this promotion at any time.
- Your “unlimited” usage is only in effect on WIND’s own network; it is not guaranteed on partnered networks, which make up for the vast majority of WIND coverage outside of the Toronto area, London, Ottawa, Kingston, Tecumseh, Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver.
