First Microsoft promised and now they’re delivering copy & paste for their Windows Phone 7 (WP7) devices.
One of the only pokes critics have been taking at the flashy new OS is the noticeable lack of the popular copy & paste function. Microsoft tried to placate its fans with a promise to add the ability in early 2011 and they weren’t lying.
Personally we believe that copy & paste really should have been part of WP7 from the start, but when you look at how long it took Apple to implement the function we really can’t complain.
They’ve even added some pretty cool looking options, like sharing snippets of text with your contacts, or the ability to copy just a couple of words or a phrase, rather than just one word or absolutely everything.
Now all Microsoft needs to work on to keep us happy is Flash support, expandable memory and a better marketing campaign. Seeing as there’s no point investing millions in creating an awesome smartphone operating system if the public doesn't know anything about it.
