It’s been a while coming but the Samsung Galaxy Nexus has been confirmed for a mid-February release in the UK. No word yet on when the rest of the world will see the snowy counterpart of the world’s first Ice Cream Sandwich device, but we hope it shouldn’t be too long.

Meanwhile, UK citizens should have access to this device from the 13th of February from retailers across the country.

There’s been no new specs, bells or whistles added to this version of the Galaxy Nexus. The differences are all purely aesthetic.

For anyone wondering this is the HSPA+ version of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and not the LTE enabled version. Although we expect to be hearing similar news about the LTE variant sometime soon.
