If you bring your own device, Koodo has some of the most competitive talk, text and data plans anywhere in Canada. If you're looking to put a data connection on an LTE-capable tablet, Koodo also has one of the most competitive packages in this category too.
Koodo doesn't offer data plans for mobile hotspots like USB sticks and portable WiFi hubs. However, Telus offers competitive data-only plans when compared to Rogers or Bell, so you may consider them if you're looking for mobile internet.

Tablet data plan
There is a tablet data plan with Koodo, but you must have an existing account with them. In fact, it's almost impossible to even get any information about their tablet plans unless you're already a Koodo customer!
With any existing smartphone plan, you can add 4GB of data for your LTE-enabled tablet. Just like their smartphone plans, it includes Shock-Free data so you never worry about paying for overage charges. You'll get notifications when you're close to 4GB, and Koodo will shut off the data so you don't go over. The only restriction is that you need to have a Koodo smartphone plan in order access this deal.
Koodo network coverage
Koodo runs on the Telus Mobility network, and has the most cell towers, most reliable network, and the best customer service of any national carrier. If you want coverage, you won't do better than Koodo. Any LTE-enabled smartphone or tablet will get a high-speed connection almost everywhere there's a Canadian.
