Nokia will apparently be unveiling a new high-end smartphone at the upcoming Mobile World Conference in Barcelona. In the last few months we’ve already seen the Nokia Lumia 710, Lumia 800 and Lumia 900 Windows Phone handsets from the Finnish giant, could another Lumia device be next?
We’ve already reported on the Nokia Lumia 910 rumor, which is said to be a smartphone that is almost identical to the Lumia 900, but ditches LTE capability in favor of an impressive 12MP camera.
If we had to put any money on it we’re guessing that this next device will not be aimed at US buyers, but will instead be headed to the global GSM market, as that tends to be where Nokia makes most of its profit these days. Specifically Europe, if you’re talking about the high-end devices.
We’re pretty excited to see what Nokia has in store for us next, as the company’s recent turn-around is still causing a bit of giddiness for us. While we expect to see nothing more than a step forward in specs with similar external design, we’re going to remain hopeful that Nokia has something new and impressive up its sleeve already. Although that would certainly be a surprise at this stage in the game.
