Eastlink plans for internet service range from 100 Mbps download speed on the slowest package to up to 1 Gbps on the fastest package. Eastlink is only available in select locations.
Mobile Broadband Connection
Eastlink internet is provided using wireless fidelity (WiFi) from local cell phone towers, which connects to a home WiFi gateway and then to end-user devices via short-range wireless technology. WiFi allows users to move WiFi-enabled devices around their homes freely. Speeds vary depending on the modem configuration, internet and server traffic, conditions in external environments, condition of the inside wiring and equipment, network management, and many other factors.
Installation
Eastlink provides customers with an easy to follow set up guide for self installation of their internet service for no extra cost. Professional installation is also available for a one time fee.
