Well it’s been coming for a very, very long time and now it’s finally, well, still coming. At least not it’s official: Amazon has announced its new Kindle Fire Android tablet for an amazing price of just $199 in the US (no solid details on pricing outside the US just yet), available for pre-order now or for purchase on the 15th of November in the US.

Sporting a very familiar form-factor, the Galaxy Y Pro is aimed at both business and casual users who enjoy their touchscreen interfaces, but still love that BlackBerry-style design with a smaller screen and physical keypad.

Windows Phone 7.5 Mango is finally ready to get pushed to existing devices. If you’re living in the US then all you have to do is connect your handset to your computer and load the Zune client. You should be notified pretty quickly if the Mango update is ready to be installed on your phone.

Microsoft has apparently patented a modular Windows Phone device with interchangeable parts. The landscape slider phone will apparently boast the option to swap out the QWERTY keyboard for a gaming pad, battery or… well, anything else Microsoft can think of.

Apple iPhone 4S Could be Real
There have been rumors circulating that Apple is preparing for a dual-phone launch around mid-October. Rather than just releasing the iPhone 5, many have been talking about the iPhone 4S. This mysterious device will apparently launch alongside the iPhone 5 as a new and improved version of the iPhone 4. The iPhone 4S is speculated to have an A5 dual-core processor and an 8MP camera.

This dual-core 1.5GHz badboy is basically a slightly upgraded version of the HTC Sensation that focuses predominantly on music by making good use of HTC’s deal with Beats Audio (commonly known as Dr Dre’s Beats among other titles).
