You can still buy older iPhone models outright or on contract. Even the older iPhone 11 is faster than most premium Android smartphones. Recently discontinued models—like iPhone XR and iPhone 12 Pro—will often sell for less as carriers clear out old stock, but this isn't a reliable way to get a good deal. Stick with the iPhone SE (2022), iPhone 11, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 13, and iPhone 14 for cheap iPhone options. What is the iPhone 13 price in Canada?

The iPhone 13 with a 6.1" display and upgraded 128GB of onboard storage starts at $849 from Apple in Canada, but you can find it cheaper from other retailers and carriers. The redesigned diagonal camera array and A15 Bionic CPU takes photos and videos to a new level. The insides also offer a larger battery that lasts 2.5 hours longer than the iPhone 12.

There were many iPhone 13 rumours—at one point, it was "iPhone 12S rumours". Apple's iPhone was announced alongside the new Apple Watch Series 7, a new iPad, and a powerful iPad mini. However, there were no revolutionary upgrades to the iPhone 13 family. However, that's not to say the models were not exciting. The redesigned A15 Bionic CPU further increased the iPhone's lead as the most powerful mobile device for 3D gaming. The graphics performance on the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini was improved with a 4-core graphics processing unit (GPU). Still, hardcore gamers will benefit from upgrading to the 5-core GPU exclusive to the iPhone 13 Pro models, which features a 120Hz ProMotion display.

The notch isn't gone, but it is significantly smaller than previous models. If you want a device without a notch, you'll need to spring for the iPhone 14 Pro or newer. The battery life is upgraded, as are the ultra-wide camera sensors. These changes are incremental but definitely add up to a more refined version of the iPhone 12 line-up.

What are the iPhone 13 mini specs?

The iPhone 13 mini was a bit of a surprise, as the iPhone 12 mini wasn't as popular as Apple would have hoped. However, enough fans love the compact profile and respectable 5.7" OLED display that Apple is keeping the format around for one more year. Despite its diminutive size, it still packs a full-power A15 Bionic CPU with up to 512GB of storage, larger camera sensors, improved image stabilization, and two hours longer battery life.

The upgrades found in the iPhone 13 mini are also present in the base iPhone 13 model, including Cinematic Mode for professional filming style and Photographic Styles to give all your pictures your unique flair. The iPhone 13 (as with the iPhone 13 mini) comes in starlight white, midnight black, blue, (PRODUCT)RED, and a new pink hue. The choice of accessories also exploded with new cases in a rainbow of colours and a MagSafe wallet which can be located in the Find My app if disconnected from your iPhone.

What are the iPhone 13 Pro specs?

The previous year's upgrades to the base model iPhones put it in close competition with the full-powered iPhone Pro line-up. However, the iPhone 13 series saw significant upgrades to the Pro models. The new graphics processor in the A15 Bionic chip included five cores on iPhone 13 Pro models instead of four, possibly because of the 120Hz ProMotion display that speeds up the refresh rate for smooth motion and slows it down as low as 10Hz to save battery life.

Cinematic Mode uses onboard AI to track your subject being recorded and adjusts the focus in real-time for video recording. When this mode is enabled, you can only record at 1080p instead of the normal 4K. The iPhone 13 Pro comes in four sophisticated case colours: graphite, silver, gold, and sierra blue. The storage options remain with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB, but a new 1TB option exclusive to the Pro model enables hours of recording even with the upcoming ProRes video support.

What are the iPhone 13 Pro Max specs?

The larger iPhone 13 Pro Max doesn't offer any particularly unique features from the previous series. It does have the extraordinary upgrades it shares with the iPhone 13 Pro, yet with a 6.7" display and the longest battery life of any iPhone Pro.
