The strongest value usually comes from SaskTel bring your own phone (BYOD) plans. Customers adding an eligible line can receive a $20 monthly BYOD discount by activating an unlocked, compatible device or purchasing a new phone at full retail price. For example, a totalSHARE plan listed at $95 per month on a two-year device term may fall to $75 per month with the BYOD discount. That makes SaskTel much more competitive for customers who already own a recent iPhone or Android device.

Customers can bring an existing phone or purchase select devices at prepaid pricing, and you don’t have to sign a long-term contract. More expensive noSTRINGS plans add mobile data for navigation, messaging apps, and occasional streaming.
SaskTel does not advertise a dedicated age-based wireless discount, so shoppers searching for SaskTel cell phone plans for seniors should begin with these basic and prepaid options. A $15 or $20 plan may be sufficient for a senior who primarily needs calls, texts, and emergency access, while a higher-data prepaid plan is better for video calling, maps, and healthcare apps. Promotional prices can expire, so customers should check the regular monthly rate before activating.

Family Plan
SaskTel’s family discount can save eligible households up to $45 per month. The second, third, and fourth eligible devices on a totalSHARE or VIP account can each receive a $15 monthly discount, while the primary line remains at its regular rate. The plans also allow eligible lines to draw from a shared pool of full-speed data.
