This plan is one of the cheapest ways to pick up unlimited 5G data in Canada, giving you unlimited talk and text across Canada, the U.S., and Mexico plus 130GB of full-speed 5G data for $45/month, a fraction of what Bell, Rogers, or Telus charges. You'll also get Roam Beyond, which lets you use your talk, text, and data in over 120 international destinations.
Several unlimited plans in Canada promise unlimited access but set unreasonably low full-speed data allotments, leaving you monitoring your data or saddled with slower speeds for portions of the month. That's not the case with this Freedom plan: the 130GB of full-speed data you score is more than ten times what the average Canadian uses in a month. If you do go over, you'll be slowed to 256Kbps, which is enough for music streaming but makes streaming videos from YouTube or Netflix almost impossible to watch.

Unlimited data plans do offer unlimited data, but each cell phone plan has a limit on how many GBs of full-speed data you get. If a customer exceeds that limit, one of two things happens, depending on the carrier and the plan:
