Rogers launched a 5G network in early 2020 alongside the release of the Samsung Galaxy S20 5G. New smartphones with 5G access from LG, Motorola and Samsung released in the time that followed, but coverage didn't expand for several months. The coverage crown was ultimately taken when Bell and Telus pushed 5G networks live this summer in five cities. Today's service expansion once again establishes Rogers as a leader in 5G telecommunications.

Where is Rogers 5G Available Now?

Rogers is now available in more than four dozen markets spanning western and central Canada. Although the initial roll-out of next generation 5G communications was modest, today's move is aggressive. Rogers Infinite customers can now access 5G networks with compatible smartphones across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario and Quebec.
