iPad 3 May Be Scarce/Called iPad HD
It looks like our hopes of Apple learning from past mistakes will be shattered. Reports are coming in that the iPad 3 will see severe supply shortages that may persist in to Q2 of this year. At the same time we’re hearing that the next Apple tablet may even not be called the iPad 3 at all, but rather the iPad HD.

There have been almost as many rumors running around the web about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S III than about the soon-to-be-launched iPad 3. Now, finally, we’re getting some pretty viable information about what we can expect from Samsung’s next flagship device.
Windows 8 Customer Preview Live
Microsoft has released a test beta of Windows 8 for anyone curious enough to try. As expected, the new OS from Microsoft features heavily around gesture interfacing in an order to accommodate the new line of Windows 8 tablets which are slated to start hitting stores both this year and next.
The Sony Xperia P and U
Not only boasting the Xperia S as its newest Ericsson-less phone line, Sony has introduced the Xperia P and Xperia U. Both the Xperia P and U sport a dual-core 1GHz U8500 chipset and both, unfortunately, will come running Android 2.3 Gingerbread out of the box with an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update to follow in Q2.
iPad 3 Launch Date Announced
Apple has finally announced the official press event for the iPad 3. On the March 7th Apple press event the world will finally get its first look at the next instalment of the tablet series that created a global market. So what do we know so far? Not much, really. We’ve heard semi-confirmation of a 2048 x 1536 retina display for the 9.7 inch screen but other than that we still only really have conjecture to go on.
Nokia 808 PureView's 41MP Camera
There’s a huge amount of excitement about Nokia’s recent Mobile World Congress (MWC) announcement regarding its new Nokia 808 PureView handset. Overall the 808 PureView is a relatively unimpressive phone, running on Symbian Belle rather than Windows Phone Mango. Unimpressive, that is, until you get to its incredible 41MP camera.
Sony Xperia S Shipping Worldwide
First shown off at CES in Las Vegas, the Sony Xperia S is one of the first phones in Sony’s new Ericsson-less line of mobile devices. Complete with a stylish new design, Sony is hoping that the Xperia S will see solid global acceptance as it moves forwards in to a new era of Sony Mobile handsets.
HTC One V and One S Unveiled
HTC has unveiled its HTC One series, starting with the HTC One X and continuing with the One V and One S. The HTC One V, previously referred to as the HTC Primo, is looking to be a lower-end device aimed at the more budget-conscious user, while the HTC One S boasts some more impressive hardware.

The HTC One X, HTC’s new flagship device, has finally seen its launch at Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona. Originally titled as both the HTC Endeavor and HTC Edge, the One X is possibly the most talked-about quad-core handset of the past few months.
