In order to unlock your phone, you’ll need to meet the requirements below: 

  1. You must have purchased your mobile device from Videotron
  2. You must provide the correct International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI, or IIEM in French). You can get your IMEI by dialling *#06# from your phone’s Telephone application. The IMEI is composed of 15 digits (no spaces)
  3. The device must not have been declared lost or stolen
  4. Videotron is only authorized to unlock devices they have sold. If your device is from a different service provider, you need to contact that service provider.

Good news: If you purchased your mobile device from Videotron after December 1, 2017, it is already unlocked by default.
