Virgin Plus offers great individual plans but there is no data-sharing plans, advertised discounts nor referral bonuses on additional lines. The only publicly advertised benefit to sharing one account is that you can call other lines on the same account for free. However, chatting with a Virgin Plus representative reveals secret hidden offers.

Virgin Plus provides service on Canada's largest LTE network and is annually rated in the top two for best customer service. They were also one of the first mobile providers to offer Member Benefits to customers, with everyday deals and discounts on food, fashion, and entertainment.

There are no data sharing plans with Virgin Plus. All plans are designed for individual use, and as a result they offer some of Canada's best prices on smartphone plans with lots of data.

Low Price on Big Data

Virgin Plus runs on the same carrier network as Bell Mobility. As a result, customers have access to the largest high-speed LTE network in Canada with coverage for 99% of Canadians. Their plans are usually in direct competition with Fido and Koodo especially when it comes to promotional deals.

If you live in Quebec, Manitoba or Saskatchewan you'll often find different pricing. Strong competition in those regions result in different (and usually better) deals.

Tablet Plans on Virgin Plus

There are no discounts when bundling additional smartphone plans, but Virgin Plus does offer a great deal on LTE-enabled tablets. Right now there's a wide selection of iPads and Android for sale tablets and they can be bought for $0 down.

Some of the cheaper Android tablets are available for $0 upfront and $0 per month when you sign a 2-year contract on the $20/month plan. That includes 4GB of mobile data and you can access the internet anywhere you find a cell signal on Canada's largest network. Bonus Program: 2GB Data... maybe...

Koodo offers customers a referral bonus for new business and Fido offers 10% off all additional smartphone plans on one account. Virgin Plus officially offers neither promotion, but I reached out to Virgin Plus customer care about multiple lines on one account. They offered 2GB of bonus data on one of the smartphone lines.

Your results may vary, but if you reach out
to Virgin Plus you may get a deal that makes
combining plans on one account worthwhile

If you're considering adding a second line to your account, contact a Virgin Plus customer care rep and see what they can do. Long-time customers may even get loyalty promotions not publicly advertised, but you can't get them if you don't ask.
