What is Koodo Self Serve?
Self Serve is Koodo’s online system in which customers can manage their account, view their bill, track their data, purchase features and add-ons, and beyond. The only thing you need to sign up for Self Serve is an email address. I myself took time to sign up for Koodo's Self Serve when reviewing the carrier late last year and found the process fairly streamlined.
As of 2026, Self Serve is available for both monthly customers and prepaid customers, with the latter being dubbed the Prepaid Self Serve. In both cases, you can manage your Koodo account without the assistance of a customer service agent.
Essentially, Self Serve is Koodo's alternative to a dedicated iOS and Android app. Unfortunately, the carrier doesn't offer a piece of mobile software. Instead, Koodo suggests customers add the Self Serve browser site to your phone's home screen. The process of adding the Self Serve site to your home screen takes a few steps to complete, and a walkthrough is provided by the carrier.
What Can I Do with Self Serve?
Koodo Self Serve allows you to perform a variety of actions and account changes:
- Block unwanted calls with Call Control
- Change your cell phone number
- Change your home address
- Change your Koodo phone plan
- Change your plan add-ons, and features
- Check your data usage
- View your Customer Service Agreements
- View your phone bill
- View your Koodo Tab balance and details
- Pay your phone bill

How Do I Register for Koodo Self Serve?
You can register for Koodo Self Serve with both monthly and prepaid plans once you activate your phone.
Monthly customers
You can register for Self Serve in just a couple of minutes. As I signed up for Koodo's services to test its 50GB Talk & Text plan, I activated a new account. From there, I received an email to finalize the setup process. The following steps were taken:
- Open the email sent from Koodo
- Open the link
- Enter your associated phone number
- Create a password
- Select a security question
- Finalize access to Self Serve
Alternatively, you can set up Self Serve without an email. By going to Koodo’s Self Serve login screen and then clicking “Register now.” You will see the Koodo Assist chat pop up on the side, which you can then use to get registered.
Prepaid customers
If you activate your Koodo prepaid phone in person at a store, you can register for Self Serve with your email address and your Koodo Prepaid phone number. You will receive a 4-digit code to your phone, which you can use to validate your number. Enter this code to continue registering.
On the other hand, if you activate your Koodo phone online, you’re automatically registered for Prepaid Self Serve. You can log in to your account using the email and password used to activate your cell phone.

What Kind of Plans Does Koodo Offer?
Koodo Mobile, which runs on Telus' network, offers phone plans for people who want to keep their current phone and for those who want to purchase a new one with the carrier.
The cheapest plan from Koodo starts at $15/month and provides 100 Canada-wide minutes and unlimited Canada-wide text. The major phone plans from Koodo include 5G data buckets with unlimited Canada-wide calling and texting. Prices on these plans typically range from $50 to $85/month. However, you may find the occasional deal throughout the year.
